72, Waterville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 10, 2008, surrounded by his "family", in the Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville. Born on April 10, 1935 in Newfoundland, he was the son of the late Ambrose and Isabelle Francis. Billy was known for his beautiful smile and eyes that would light up. Billy loved animals and trips to the zoo where he would always get an ice cream. He enjoyed reading the funnies and was always looking to extend his vocabulary. Billy will be deeply missed by all his friends on the Rosedale Unit. A private memorial service will be held at Kings Regional Rehabilitation Centre, Waterville. Burial will take place in the Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Lower Sackville, at a later date. Donations in his memory may be made to the Apple Tree Foundation, P.O. Box 128, Waterville, N.S., B0P 1V0.
