91, Berwick, Kings Co., passed away Wednesday, May 6, 2009, in the North Hills Nursing Home, Granville Ferry, Annapolis Co. Born in Burlington, Kings Co., she was a daughter of the late Harry Willis and Minnie Ellen (Tufts) Coleman. Mary had worked at several different stores in Kentville and in Kingston, Kings Co. and had spent several years in Ottawa. She was known as "Aunt Mary" to her nieces and nephews and many others. Mary enjoyed visiting and spending time with her family and was proud of all her cherished family photographs. Her hobbies included gardening, sewing, knitting and sharing these items with family and friends. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Surviving are her brother-in-law, Bedford Graves, Aylesford; several nieces and nephews, including, Norman Hall; Terry (Yvonne) Graves; Nadine Graves; Fred Coleman; Dorothy Benedict and her son, Steven; Jean (Gar) Woodworth. Besides her parents, she was predeceased her brothers, Robert, John, Fred, Charlie and Frank Coleman; sisters, Jennie Faulkenham; Elsie Kinsman; Mollie Hall, Ada Graves. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. Graveside service for Mary will take place 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 9, in the Aylesford Union Cemetery. Rev. Brian Wheaton officiating. No flowers by request, donations in her memory may be made to the Berwick Food Bank, P.O. Box 727, Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, or to any charity. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the H.C.
