89, Berwick, Kings Co. passed away Wednesday April 2, 2008, in the Grand View Manor, Berwick, Born in Harmony, Kings Co. she was a daughter of the late Hardy and Nellie (Prime) Morse. Norma was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, sister, grandmother & great-grandmother. She had worked at Lone Pine Farms for many years. Norma was an avid reader, enjoyed doing the Lexicon Puzzle and babysitting. She had been a resident at Cottage Court in Berwick for 18 years before moving to Grand View Manor. Surviving are sons, Donald (Alva) Chase, West Berwick; Bruce (Faye) & Rickey Chase (Rosemary Budgell), all of Windermere; daughters, Phyllis Foster (Alfred Bezanson), Wilmot; Sandra Gates (Bob Lunn), Cambridge Station; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces & nephews. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Allen Chase; daughter, Maxine in infancy; granddaughter, Brenda Lee; grandson, Gregory Chase; brothers, Elwood & Gordon Morse; sisters, Neva Savage; Marion Morton. Visitation for Norma will take place 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Saturday in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Sunday April 6. Rev. Marilyn Rose officiating, with burial in the Berwick Cemetery. Family flowers only, donations in her memory may be made to the Grand View Manor, Berwick, the Heart & Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia or to any charity.
