70, Auburn, Kings Co., passed away suddenly at home on Saturday, April 11, 2009. She was born in Gimli, Manitoba, she was a daughter of the late Dymetro and Annie (Sherbanowski) Demarchuk. Catherine enjoyed gardening and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister. She and her husband had operated a store in Auburn for many years. Surviving are her husband, E. Ross Anderson, Auburn; sons, Timothy, High River, Alberta; Jeffery, Surrey, B.C.; Darryl (Tracy), Auburn; daughters, Laurie (Larry) Ziegler, Vancouver, B.C.; Karen (Steve) Anderson, Kimberly Anderson, all of Kingston, Kings Co.; Carol (Jimmy) Wilson, Trenton, Ont.; grandchildren, Baley, Robert; Mark, Michelle; Ryan, Chrystal, Melanie; Jasmine, Courtney, Eden; Thomas, Jamie; great-grandson, Tyson; sister, Irene (Bill) Farrell, Westbank, B.C.; a niece & a nephew. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by sisters, Jean & Emily. Visitation for Catherine will take place 7-9 p.m., Thursday in the H.C. Lindsay Funeral Home, 192 Commercial St., Berwick, N.S., B0P 1E0, (902-538-9900), from where the funeral service will take place 2 p.m. Friday, April 17. Rev. Tony Cole officiating, with Interment at a later date. Donations in her memory may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or to any charity.
