Obituary of Elizabeth Atwell

Atwell (Morine), Elizabeth "Betty" Jean - 74 of Wolfville Ridge, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family Thursday November 12, 2009 in Valley Regional Hospital, Kentville, N.S. Born in Wolfville, Betty was the daughter of the late Arch and Ruth (Weatherbee) Morine. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Edward; daughter, Linda (Jimmie) Lockhart, Avonport; sons, Brian (Nancy Ueffing), Graham (Sheron), both of Wolfville Ridge; grandchildren, Angie, Jenna, Tyler and Brody, great grandchildren, Ben, Jesse, Jake and Ellie; brothers, Herbie (Diana), Wolfville Ridge, Billy (Marilyn), Forest Hill, Gary (Evelyn), Wolfville Ridge; sister, Margie (Kennie) DeEll, Wolfville Ridge. Betty was predeceased by step brothers, Earl Morine, Clifford Hiscoe; step sisters, Gertrude Kelly, Barbara Kelly, Mabel Greene, Viola Weldon and Eleanor Marr. There will be no visitation by Betty's request. A graveside committal service will take place at 1 p.m. Saturday November 14 in Willow Bank Cemetery, Wolfville, N.S. Rev. Robert Burbidge officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wolfville Ridge Baptist Church or charity of choice. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H.C.
