Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
HILTZ, William Everette "Bill"?쳌 62, Burlington, Kings Co. He was born 1947 in Berwick to Violet A. (Morrow) Hiltz, Morden and the late Harold E. Hiltz. For more than 25 years Bill and Cindy have organized and hosted more than 50 charity driven events at their home, "The Farm" in Burlington. The Corn Boil at the farm celebrated its 19th in August 2008, with over 2000 people spending the weekend. At these events well over $100,000 has been raised for local charities. Bill was usually a quiet man. He was straight forward and unafraid to tell it like it is, like it or not. He was a pipe fitter and proud member of UA Local 56 for 40 years. He was a loving son, father, grandfather, and husband. Bill was a proud hunter, woodcutter, Christmas tree farmer, biker, bootlegger, pirate and legend. He was a friend to many and friend of many more, always eager to help those in need, especially an underdog. The things he treasured most were family, his farm, his dogs, his community and a hard day's work. Bill's passion, hard work and dedication has made a long lasting and deep impact on his friends and community. The legacy that he has built will continue to grow and promote the community that he has come to love and call home, Burlington. Bill was loved by his wife, Cindy Lou (Hammond) Hiltz; sons, Jeremy (Melissa DiRocco) Hiltz, Bible Hill; Josh Hiltz, Hung Wang, China; Martin Usher, Centreville; daughter, Becky (Jeff) Potvin, Concession; grandchildren, Hannah, Rebecca, Aarron, Aalliyah, Quinn, Ethan and Jacob; father and mother-in-law, Greg and Verna Hammond, Burlington; brothers, Harold "Butch" (Jean), Hammonds Plains; the late Earl, Jimmy (Debbie MacDonald), The Forties; sisters, Mary (Lloyd) Lockwood, Rockland; Charlotte (Lester) Pierce, Torbrook; Marlene (Rob) Eisnor, Selma, Audrey (Bill) Briner, Morden and Suzanne (Kenny) Watton, Welsford. In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory may be made to Burlington (Kings County) Community Hall. Arrangements are under the care and direction of H. C.
