Obituary of Carolin Ann Corkum

Please share a memory of Carolin to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mama, Carolin Ann Corkum, 56 of Kentville, Nova Scotia on Sunday, October 19th, 2025 after a short and courageous battle with Cancer. Carolin was born on April 17th, 1969 to Doreen and Theodore Corkum.

Our mama, was a loving mother, grandmother and wife; nothing was more important to her than family. Carolin’s greatest accomplishments in life were her children and her granddaughter, her pride and joy.

Carolin loved long drives with no destination, listening to Johnny Reid and telling jokes until we almost peed!

Our mama, was a very loving, caring and compassionate woman, she would have done anything within her means for anyone.

Carolin was an amazing mother, grandmother and wife, Carolin will be missed more than words can say by her children, granddaughter and husband.

Carolin is survived by her two sons, Jesse Kennedy and Dawson Howlett, her daughter, Mattea Godin (Eric Godin). Her granddaughter, Serenity and her beloved and devoted Husband, Jeff Williams, Brothers; Robert (Joanne), Eric, Paul and Richard. Sisters; Elizabeth (Hub) Levy, Shirley Brown, Brenda (Bob) NewCombe and Wanda Corkum.

In addition to her parents, Carolin was predeceased by her first born, daughter, Katelin Corkum and brother in law Gary Goucher.

Our family would like to give a special thank you to Valley Regional Hospital, Intensive Care Unit and especially Dr. Karen Burch, who showed us nothing but kindness and compassion during this difficult time!

There will be no visitation as per Carolin’s request and a small private family service is being held on Friday, October 24th, 2025.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, 34 Coldbrook Village Park Dr., Coldbrook, NS, B4R 1B9 (902-679-2822).
