My sincere condolences to the entire Link family on the passing of Roy. An excellent soldier, leader and example to all those he served with. I served with Roy in the Lord Strathcona’s Horse and The Royal Canadian Dragoons. Sadly another friend and soldier is now resting in the Tank Park. We will remember him.

We have many fond memories of Roy but my fondest are of how the kids and I always looked for Roy at all the Remembrance Day services, even when they were in school.

So sorry for your loss Sharon & Family. MR Lynk was such a proud Soldier, Served his Country with dedication that was second to noody that I ever Served with. Roy was one of a kind, as Base Chief of Toronto he was respected by everyone in uniform & Base Personnel. As a newly promoted SNCO he was my mentor, if fact am proud to say he was the Solder that put my Sargents on my solders. Rest in Peace Mr Lynk you will be missed by everyone that crossed your path.
