Obituary of Elizabeth Harriette Allen
Elizabeth “Betty” Allen, 77 passed away March 24, 2025, in the Valley Regional Hospital. Born in Berwick on April 9, 1947, Betty was the daughter of the late Frank and Kathleen Arenburg.
Betty is survived by her daughter, Lisa (David) Keddy of Blue Mountain; as well as her grandchildren, Daniel John (Ciermae) Allen, of Calgary, Alberta, Joshua Guy (Megan) Keddy of Aldersville, and Brandon David (Caitlin) Keddy of Aylesford.
In addition to her parents, Betty was predeceased by her dearest husband, Daniel Allen; brother, Robert Arenburg; sisters, Wendy Dominey and Elsie Rafuse as well as two brothers in infancy.
The family of Betty would like to offer a special thanks to Dr. Lee for the compassionate help and guidance they received over the last year as well as to her G.P, Dr. Pultz for her kindness. The family would like to extend another special thank you to Dr. Mali as well as the nurses at Med A in the Valley Regional Hospital – they made a difficult time easier to handle.
A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date, an Interment and Graveside Service will be held in the Berwick Cemetery on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at 1:30pm. Family Flowers Only. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Foundation. Arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home, Coldbrook Village Park Drive, Coldbrook, NS B4R 1B9.
