Upon retirement, Ed moved into Tideways Housing Co-operative in Wolfville and served many years as president of the board. Active in sports all his life, Ed was an avid pheasant hunter and championship curler, and in retirement years enjoyed shuffleboard, bridge, crokinole, gardening and cooking.
